Que Sera Sera is a dazzling tribute to the legendary Doris Day, celebrating her unforgettable music and timeless charm.

One of Britain’s most treasured musicians Steven Osborne returns to Music in Peebles, but this time in “a programme with a difference”. Already recognised for his depth of musicality across a diverse repertoire, with awards including The Royal Philharmonic Society Instrumentalist of the Year, two BBC Music Magazine Awards and two Gramophone Awards, Steven explores solo piano works based around the waltz—from Schumann and Boulanger to Bill Evans and Rzewski. He is then joined by saxophonist Martin Kershaw, a central figure in the Scottish jazz scene for the last 20 years, for a second half tracing the workings of jazz.

Celebrating her ninth studio album Grace Untold, Irish-born folk star Heidi Talbot returns to the stage this April. With her shimmering vocals, acclaimed songwriting, and stories that span continents, Heidi will be joined by Toby Shaer singing songs new and old with a dash of humour and a good measure of storytelling.

After selling out shows in 2025 – The Sound of Scotland with the Macdonald Bros returns in 2026 with a stunning new production which will take you on a musical journey celebrating Scotland’s greatest songs and artists. The Sound of Scotland celebrates everything wonderful about Scotland and has been described as a Scottish Music Extravaganza - so get your tartan scarves at the ready! 

Traditionally the Music in Peebles season at the Eastgate Theatre ends with a “Patron’s choice” concert when our patron, the international violinist Gina MacCormack handpicks both the performers and the programme.
