Herman’s Hermits
Herman’s Hermits are one of the most successful British pop acts of the 1960s, with 23 hit records and over 80 million copies sold worldwide. Known for classics like “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” and “There’s a Kind of Hush,” the band became global stars with chart-topping hits, films, and TV appearances including The Royal Variety Performance and The Ed Sullivan Show. Formed in Manchester in 1964 and produced by Mickie Most, the group remains a hugely popular touring act. Original drummer Barry Whitwam still leads the band today—now bringing their timeless hits, humour, and authentic sixties pop nostalgia to the Eastgate Theatre.
