Some of the Borders’ finest young singers and instrumentalists take to the stage for the area finals of the Rotary Young Musician Competition.  The first round prize winners from Duns, Hawick, Selkirk, Biggar Peebles and IWT will compete for a place in the next round in Edinburgh prior to the National Finals in March.

The evening’s programme also includes performances by a selection of talented young musicians from across the Borders and from Nomad Beat community school.

There will be a demonstration of Rotary’s ongoing commitment to fund many organisations at home and abroad.   As always there is also the continuing promotion of many Rotary Youth competitions such as Young Chef, Young Photographer, Young Writer, Young Artist and the Primary School Quiz.
