Sir Walter Scott’s gothic yarn is brought to the stage by John Nichol. Set in the late 17th century, with the blood of the Covenanters still fresh on the ground, this is the supernatural tale involving Steenie, the grandfather of blind fiddler Wandering Willie. It tells of Steenie’s mysterious and terrifying journey to prove his loyalty towards his master, the merciless Sir Robert Redgauntlet.
