Thu 20 February

£8, £4 under 25

How to build attractive, sustainable and affordable homes.

If we need to have new housing developments they should be attractive, sustainable and affordable. Come along to an inspiring evening, hearing from people who are making it happen.  Neil Sutherland, director of MAKAR Limited, Inverness talks about designing whole neighbourhoods built with Scottish wood, Ross Weddle of Future Homes, Newcastle talks about community-led housing for older people.  Members of the SBC planning team will be invited to talk about the new Planning Act and sharing experiences to make the town of Peebles (even more) special.
