The Killing of Two Lovers

Wed 14 July

Pain and rage pulse through this superbly made drama about marital breakdown and male humiliation.

The film follows David, who is desperate trying to keep his family of six together when he and his wife Nikki take time apart to try to work things out. They both agree to see other people but David struggles to grapple with his wife’s new relationship. When David has to face his contemptuous eldest daughter Jess to explain why he won’t stand up for himself…everything changes.

“A compelling portrait of a toxic marriage.” The Guardian

“a transfixing drama without a wasted word or a single inessential scene.” Hollywood Reporter
