After the success of last year’s show, the fundraiser for the Eastgate Theatre returns with some old favourites – DHRC, Tweed Theatre, Nomad Best – performing sparkling new tasters and tidbits. There is also a raft of new participants including Clare Prenton (writer of “Men Don’t talk “, director and lyricist) and her writer’s workshop Acting Up, Tim Wilcock’s satirical songs and Julian Goodacre’s preview of his November show with music and readings from a classic of local history.
Music, drama, new writing, republished classics and satire make up a sizzling evening of local talent raising money for our local theatre.
