The Borders Big Band

With seventeen musicians performing classics of the swing era, Borders Big Band aims to raise the Eastgate roof with its repertoire drawn from the libraries of Big Band greats such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Charlie Barnet, Buddy Rich and Les Brown.

The band performs under the expert guidance of musical director Chris Achenbach.
