The latest musical adventure by the stand-up, barefoot, un-classical guitarist

The latest musical adventure by the stand-up, barefoot, un-classical guitarist and composer Richard Durrant features British folk melodies played alongside unaccompanied Bach, several originals and a fascinating collection of tunes inspired by the landscape.

Stringhenge is a uniquely British exploration of unplugged music on the cusp of folk and classical.  In a concert rich with visuals and intriguing tales Richard plays the music on an Uffington Tenor guitar and a six string concert guitar, built in Lincolnshire from 5,000 year old English, black oak.  Richard’s honesty and passion for music pervades everything he chooses to do and he has built a reputation as one of the great guitarists of his generation with audiences across the world.
