Enjoy tales of magic and mystery as told by Joan Morrison. Followed by a light soup and sandwich lunch.
Escape the dreich winter weather with a new series of five heart-warming Wednesday afternoon storytelling sessions in the Eastgate’s Anne Younger Studio – followed by soup and a sandwich.
Joan tells traditional stories of magic and mystery, from Scotland and beyond: stories and ballads of the Scottish Borders, Arthurian legends, tales of mythical creatures, wonder tales, hero adventure tales and stories of the Faery Hills to entertain, educate and inspire. Her storytelling is often combined with music and song – a love song, an old lullaby, a children’s street song, a lively tune, or a gentle slow air played on concertina.
Stories and soup is presented with the help of Traditional Arts Culture Scotland (TRACS) at Edinburgh’s Storytelling Centre.
