Burns songs performed by Peebles harpist Esther Swift and Ayrshire tenor David Douglas.

A celebration of the poet who has played such a seminal role in Scotland’s culture, arranged for harp and tenor by local harpist Esther Swift and Ayrshire tenor David Douglas.

Esther and David are two renowned musicians who have performed as a duo across the UK. Their unique approach in spanning a range of styles has seen them perform at the Ae Sparks of Natures Fire festival, support Spiers and Boden on their farewell tour and perform Burns Meets the American Song Book.

In 2014 and 2015 they headlined the Alloway Sessions at the National Trust for Scotland’s Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, giving them the opportunity to perform at Burns’ Cottage.
