DESCRIPTION:

The film featured on the left is Who is James Payton? Despite appearances in many hugely successful films James Payton is largely unknown. This is a story of fandom, loneliness and perseverance.

The opening day of the inaugural SIFC, sister festival to Idyllwild, California. Both festivals are dedicated to providing a showcase for emerging talent in independent film and to advance and promote their work.

Day one:

12 – 2pm: Dark Encounter

2 – 4pm: Shorts: Foolsproof, Limelight, Doppelparents, Dreams from the Edge, Black Moon, Just a Man and a Woman, Alien Guy Tim, At the Strawberry Stand, Cold Call.

4 – 6pm: On Wenlock Edge, Who is James Payton?

6 – 8pm: Nakusa, Wrong Time Wrong Space, Sorority.
