The film featured on the left is Hashtag Blessed: The Movie. It’s Christmas time and Jessi is all but excited. She finds herself with ‘comparisonitis’ on social media. With family concerned, will she continue in negativity or will the magic of Christmas shine a light?
The fifth day of the inaugural SIFC, sister festival to Idyllwild in California. Both festivals are dedicated to providing a showcase for emerging talent in independent film and to advance and promote their work.
Day five:
10am – 12pm: Screening to celebratethe 80th anniversary of Casablanca – often acclaimed as “The Greatest Film Ever Made” with intro and Q&A with Stephen Savage.
12 – 3pm: Hashtag Blessed: The Movie, Caralique
3 – 4pm: Danny Boy, First Time, A Mithty Endeavor, Stand Up, The Monologue, Faces After Suicide
4 – 5.45pm: The Hit, Liam & May, Mara: The Seal Wife, Cold Call, Who Goes There
5.45 – 8pm: The final film is Cleanin Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters.
Please Note: Danny Boy can also be seen on Thursday 21st in the 2 – 4pm block. A Mighty Endeavor and Liam & May can also be seen on Friday 22nd in the 3 – 5pm block.
