Tonight’s short films (above) explore adventures in some of the world’s more challenging environments. The winners of this year’s Outdoor Shorts competition will also be screened. After the interval, acclaimed adventure film-maker Paul Diffley will talk about the work of his multi-award-winning Hot Aches label, and explain why his latest film – a caving epic set in Spain’s Picos de Europa mountains (see trailer below) – is perhaps his most challenging undertaking yet.
