Naomi Freireich, British and European 24hr Mountain Bike Champion, traces her journey from non-cyclist to elite athlete and reveals how endurance riding fuels her passion for exploring wild places – including bikepacking through Kyrgyzstan as part of the 2018 Silk Road Mountain Race. Naomi, from Edinburgh, is also a full-time IT manager and mother of two.
