Director Cara Holmes A delightfully left-field look at the life of lipstick-wearing, potty-mouthed, no-nonsense artist and shepherd, Orla Barry. A self-confessed ovine addict, she is “a decade in sheep”, tending her flock of pedigree Lleyn sheep in southeast Ireland – a move that has both slowed her art career and inspired it. She escapes the studio by going to the sheep and escapes the sheep by hiding in her studio: a floating between worlds that reveals a primal, poetic and unpredictable bond with nature and the outdoors.
