Music in Peebles: Roo Geddes & Neil Sutcliffe

Their compositions are inspired by landscape and people, and by the ways in which music can evoke a sense of place and community.

They met, and began collaborating musically, as students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating with First Class Honours.

Their debut album, ‘HOMELANDS’, was a critical success, winning the prestigious Danny Kyle Award and being selected as a winner of Feis Rois’ In Tune with Nature competition. The duo are writing a new body of work inspired by woodlands and the wisdom they have to offer us.
