Nomad Beat’s Memory Lane Music is for those in the community living with dementia and their carers. It provides specialised music-making, by fully trained tutors, to stimulate memories and give an opportunity for some great fun!

It runs on Wednesday mornings 10.30am – 12noon at the Eastgate Theatre and is free but with limited spaces.

There will also be time for socialising after the sessions in the Eastgate Cafe with refreshments provided.

Memory Lane Music aims to make a difference to the lives of those in the Tweeddale community who are living with dementia and their carers.  Initially reducing feelings of loneliness and problems with communication.  Longer term, to show the improvements music can make to their lives, so it becomes an important part of their provided care systems.

The classes are supported by the William Syson Foundation.
