Introducing: Weekend Warrior

The Premiere of a gritty film about loneliness, youth and independence.  followed by a performance by two local bands and a solo artist.

This evening is a celebration of the premiere screening of a film inspired by and made in the Borders by a determined group of friends.  Described by the director as “a passion project” it tells the story of a young man living rough and wild in Scottish moorland who fights to defend his isolated way of life from intruding entities. It is a gritty film about loneliness, youth and independence.

Following the screening local bands and one solo performer – Isabella Strange, Eggshell Goblin and Butter – will perform so that everyone can get together to celebrate the making and first screening of Weekend Warrior.
