DESCRIPTION:

A series of three workshops using different dance techniques (along with words, music or images) to explore identity.

Contemporary dance workshops with Sara Boles

Starting with warm-up exercises to improve strength, stamina and flexibility, participants in each session will work with a variety of dance techniques, supported by music, word or images, to create an expressive piece of performance about identity, relationships, and human potential.

Previous dance experience is not essential.  Just bring your imagination and enthusiasm to the workshop, and leave with a new sense of achievement, confidence and wellbeing.  Some of the work will go on to be shared with the public as part of Inspiring Life Day on Saturday 20 May.

You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have. (Maya Angelou)
