Lovers of traditional music are missing their fix of outdoor summer festivals this year. That thought inspired Penicuik folk club organiser Jon Redpath to create The Eastgate Garden Ceilidh together with friends, Pat and Julian Goodacre. And so 18 acts, one after the other, were videoed in a beautiful garden to create a wonderful 90 minutes of music, song and spoken word, all showcasing the talents of local people.
This first of four weekly episodes features performances by the following: Ewan Ross and Joe Wilton; Sue Owen; Steve Dubé; Jan Cameron; Fin Price and Rowan Steele; Jim Alexander. Thank you to all performers for sharing their talents! Filmed and edited by Euan Farmer.
