This week, Jan Cameron visits author and environmentalist Fi Martynoga to discover some of the delicious plants that even those with no garden at all can find in wild places close to home. Fi highlights a bush that serves as nature’s medicine cabinet, reveals which plant we should eat seven times a year to stay healthy and demonstrates how to make a rather different but delicious cup of tea.
A Handbook of Scotland’s Wild Harvests by Fi Martynoga is one of several of her books published by Saraband. Jan own’s recent publication, The Garden Cure, is also available from the same publisher. Both are local authors.
