Andy Gray & Grant Stott, star as Mikey and Davey, two old pals who have been granted their dream job – clearing out their old local cinema.
Edinburgh’s favourite comedy double act, Andy Gray & Grant Stott, star as Mikey and Davey, two old pals who have been granted their dream job – clearing out their old local cinema.
Set against a backdrop of fading film posters, abandoned reels of film and cinema seats covered in dust, Stott & Gray’s electrifying partnership is in full force as they act out iconic movie moments – from Ben Hur to The Magnificent Seven, through Star Wars and The Godfather.
Through this ritual of re-enacted cinema history, cracks in their inextricably linked lives begin to emerge, as well as the revelation that, despite their epic aspirations, the duo appear stuck in a B-movie of their own making… can they agree on an ending?
This is a brand new play by Phil Differ, the prolific comedy writer whose credits include Spitting Image, Not the Nine O’Clock News and Only An Excuse?
