David Hockney at the Royal Academy
This exhibition, featuring the wok of one of the world’s finest artists, is one of the Royal Academy’s Exhibition on Screen series, featuring a mix of multiframe landscapes, still life work and, of course classic portraits. In copious interviews, as he enters his 80s, Hockney comes across as an ever-enthusiastic, always curious figure, forever concerned with painting and how to make his marks on the canvas.
