Weekly dance workshops designed for those with Parkinson’s, their families and carers.
A series of weekly dance workshops designed especially for those with Parkinson’s disease, their families and carers. These sessions are suitable for people with no dance experience and will develop participants’ confidence and creativity, while addressing specific concerns such as balance, flexibility, coordination, mobility and social isolation.
Each session is accompanied by live music, and includes time to enjoy tea/coffee, biscuits and a blether. Dance for Parkinson’s Scotland programme is a joint initiative managed by Dance Base and Scottish Ballet.
The classes are supported by the William Syson Foundation.
