This trio is made up of some of Britain’s finest woodwind players – Dana Morgan (flute), Sarah Watts (clarinets), Laurence Perkins (bassoon) – and is now one of the UK’s leading chamber ensembles. The programme opens with:

Following the interval they will play Distant Lands – A Hebridean Journey. This is a programme of live music to three Scottish Archive films: Eriskay – A poem of remote lives (1934) The Highlands and islands (1929) St. Kilda – Britain’s loneliest isle (1928).
