Event Type: Festival

Fri 30 August

2- 4PM

Join the Laird of Traquair on a 3km exploration of the new trails in the grounds of the grand house.

Join Catherine Maxwell Stuart, laird of Traquair, for a gentle woodland walk (3km) along the brand-new footpath that explores previously unseen parts of Traquair Estate. The walk ends with a fascinating tour of the famous Traquair House Brewery, housed in the wing of the main house directly beneath the chapel. Dating back to the early 1700s, it was originally a domestic brewery serving the house and the estate.

Suitable for participants with reasonable level of fitness. Route includes some uneven ground. Wear suitable footwear and clothes (and carry any extras you may need). Bringing a drink and snack also recommended.
