CREATIVE PEEBLES FESTIVAL……The End of the Line
DATE:
Sun 2 September
TIME:
2PM – 4PM
PRICE:
£8
DESCRIPTION:
Stuart Akers leads a nostalgic tour around Peebles’ railway heritage.
It’s more than half a century since the last trains ran through Peebles – operated variously by the Peebles Railway, the North British Railway, and the Caledonian Railway. Fifty years later, there are still many remnants of buildings, signs and place names that bear witness to the town’s age of steam. Stuart Akers is the guide for this nostalgic tour around Peebles’ railway heritage.
Meet in Eastgate Café.
