Originally from Dumfries, Claire was named BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2015. Since winning the title, her performance highlights include BBC Proms in the Park, BBC Music Day (where she sang alongside Lulu, Jamie Cullum and Deacon Blue) and the Orkney Folk Festival. Her debut album Between River and Railway has been greeted by huge critical acclaim.
