Famed for their Gaelic Chronicles a series of spellbinding instrumental versions of traditional Gaelic folk tunes BCO return to their adopted spiritual homeland of Scotlandia for a record 12th year to play 32 thrilling more shows the length and breadth of the country.

At a BCO performance a blistering barrage of traditional folk and gypsy-flavoured music from across the Balkans and Russia gives way to Klezmer laments, Romanian Doinas, Hungarian Czadas and the band’s own re-imaginings of some of the biggest tunes by the romantic greats including squeezebox concertos by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.

Evoking vivid images of Tzigane fiddle maestros, Budapest café life and gypsy campfires -  plus a few surprises along the way -  this band is hugely entertaining, has immense skill and profound musicianship…enough to make you want to book that holiday down the Danube!
