Fèis Rois should be celebrating the 21st edition of its acclaimed Ceilidh Trail project this summer and was set for a fantastic summer of concerts and cèilidhs throughout Scotland, (including the annual performance in the Eastgate Café) England, France and Australia to mark the milestone, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organisation took an early decision to cancel this year’s programme.

Although the musicians can’t be out on the road this year, the organisation is determined to celebrate and is delighted to present a very special online concert from Saturday 15 August, 2020 at 8pm, showcasing some of the 150+ musicians that have taken part in the project since 1999.

The concert will be hosted on the Fèis Rois Facebook page: www.facebook.com/feisrois and at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdUjOY4QcWo

You can donate to Fèis Rois at www.justgiving.com/feisrois and/or order a copy of the new CD 21 Years of the Ceilidh Trail at www.feisrois.bandcamp.com from 15 August.

Feis Rois Ceilidh Trail is a professional development opportunity for young musicians aged 16-25 who are considering a career in traditional music performance. It is also an important cultural tourism initiative.
