An evening of swing with Peebles High School big band Swingloaded.

Enjoy a relaxed evening of swing music with Peebles’ own prodigiously talented big band.  Featuring a wealth of instrumentals from the war years by Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman, songs of the rat pack era, jazz standards by Dave Brubeck and Weather Report and modern day classics as recorded by Michael Bublé.

Swingloaded is made up of  young musicians (aged 14 – 18) from Peebles High School.  With ability that belies their youth, they will delight and excite with renditions of Sing, Sing, Sing, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Moondance, Minnie the Moocher, Blue Rondo à la Turk, Beyond the Sea, Uptown Funk and many more.  A night for all generations to enjoy together.
