An animated adventure film written and directed by Wes Anderson.  In a dystopian future Japan dogs have been quarantined on the remote Isle of Dogs due to a “canine flu”.

When a boy named Atari Kobayashi ventures to the island to search for his dog, Spots he meets five local dogs, Chief, Rex, Boss, Duke, and King who are fed up with their isolated existence.  They help but can they protect Atari from the Japanese authorities who have come to retrieve him
