Elfair Grug Dyer, Rebecca Mills, Esther Swift and Angelina Warburton are four professional harpists who met when they studied at Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. They began playing as a harp quartet in 2007 and since then have released three CDs, toured extensively and even performed under the dinosaur in the Natural History Museum in London. Clouds’ music is written by Esther Swift and draws much from her background in folk music and improvisation though it is also influenced by jazz, blues, dance and many new found extended techniques.
