Borders Historian Clive Hallam-Baker explores the beginning of the Borders Story as the forces of Kingdom of Scotland (Malcolm II of Scotlandand Owen the Bald (King of Strathclyde) defeated the Northumbrians (led by Uhtred, son of Waldef,) at the battle of Carham and determined the eastern border of Scotland at the River Tweed.
