Volunteers

Eastgate volunteers play a vital part in the life of the theatre – assisting with a variety of tasks on a regular or occasional basis, and bringing their own enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise to add value to the theatre’s many activities.  At the same time they become part of the Eastgate community – making friends, meeting new people, and gaining an insight into the day-to-day life of the theatre.

There are three main areas where volunteers are always needed: the café and bar, the box office, and as ushers in the auditorium.  Experience is not required, as volunteers are given a full induction about the Eastgate as well as training in the chosen area of work.
